Rebecca Weber (FHEA, RSDE, RSME) investigates the intersections between dance, science, and somatics. Weber has a PhD in Dance Psychology from Coventry University, and worked on the Leverhulme Trust funded project, “In the Dancer’s Mind.” She also holds an MFA in Dance from Temple University and an MA in Dance & Somatic Well-Being from the University of Central Lancashire. Director of Somanaut Dance, Co-Director of Project Trans(m)it, and Associate Editor of Dance, Movement and Spiritualities, and Editorial Board Member for thINKingDANCE.net, Weber is currently a lecturer at the University of Auckland. www.somanautdance.com
