Daniel Roberts is a choreographer, dancer, and pianist, based in the United States. He is a former member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company and was Rehearsal Director for Danish Dance Theater in Copenhagen. Currently, he is a Professor in Dance at The Ohio State University. Roberts holds an MFA in Performing Arts from Bennington College and graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a BFA in Dance. Roberts is a re-stager of Cunningham’s works; his own choreography has been performed in the US, Denmark, and Brazil. He is a 2019 Fulbright Specialist Scholar.
