Palmer Mathews, a native of Madison, Wisconsin, USA, is a dance artist living in Taipei, Taiwan. His artistic work is characterized by a combination of vigorous athletic movement and fleeting tender moments, creating an experience for the viewer that is exhilarating, provocative, and inquisitive. As an emerging dance choreographer, Palmer Mathews’ works have been shown across Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mathews is pursuing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts for dance choreography at Taipei National University of the Arts on full scholarship.
