Biography

Liang studied with Tsai-Er Lee since young for several years. In 1981, Ruei-Rong established Wu-Zer-Ya-Ji Dance School teaching young dancers in Kaohsiung. Next year, she joined the Cloud Gate (CG) Summer Dance Program and was selected to be the dancer of CG. A year later, she returned to the south and formed Kaohsiung Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), the first professional dance company in the south, together with Ms. Fang-yi Lai. They worked tirelessly in promoting dance in southern Taiwan for years. KCDC performed in several theater venues, including the National Theater in Taipei. She then took a few years off to complete her MFA degree in the Taipei National University of the Arts. In 1997, Liang accepted the invitation to be the Dance Chair in Chinese Arts High School and worked for eight years until she left in 2005. She traveled to USA for a year before returning to Taipei and became the Advisor of CG Dance School. For ten years, she has enjoyed the challenges and has briefly traveled to Hong Kong to assist the development of CG Dance Program. In 2015, she has been assigned the advisor of CG teaching faculty in southern Taiwan until her retirement in 2020.
