Kristina Dolinina teaches Hindi Language, Literature and Performative Traditions of South Asia at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies in Vilnius University. She graduated from the School of Indian Languages, Jawaharlal Nehru University and practiced Kathak and Odissi Dance forms in New Delhi, India for more than ten years. Kristina is 4th year PhD student at the Ethnomusicology Department, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. The subject of her studies - Kathak Dance and Kathak Performative Communities. In 2009 Kristina founded Natya Devi Dance Theatre in Vilnius, which is involved in various dance events, festivals and intercultural projects.
